AI that fits the work

AI that meets you where you are.

Most AI tools tell you how to work. I find the parts of your business that should already be automated, build them in, and give you back the time you spend on the stuff you hate doing — and if AI isn't the lever right now, I'll tell you straight.

If any of these sound familiar, keep reading.

"We bought the AI subscriptions. The team uses them maybe twice a week. Nothing has actually changed."

— a founder we talked to

"I've been told I need an AI strategy. What I actually need is for someone to look at how we work and just… find the leverage."

— an operator we talked to

"I've built my business the way I like to work. I don't want a system that forces me to work differently. I just want the parts I hate — the admin, the reporting, the follow-up — to disappear."

— a small-business owner we talked to

How I work.

Three steps. No surprise pricing. No mandatory next step.

1

Conversation

A 30-minute call. I ask about how your team actually operates, where the friction is, and what "AI working here" would look like. No pitch. If we're not a fit, I'll tell you.

2

Sprint

We map AI to your actual workflows. You get a prioritized roadmap with cost and effort attached. From there, you decide what to build, or whether we work together on it.

3

System

If we keep going: I build it in. Could be a retainer, a fractional advisory engagement, or a build sprint — depends on what your roadmap surfaced. I'm a single operator, not an agency, so the work happens fast and you talk to the person doing it.

Questions worth asking out loud.

What is Velo, exactly?
Velo is a practice where I serve a few business clients on retainer using a system I built. Same system is what I sell, train on, or build inside other companies. So if you hire me, you're getting both me and the way of working.
Is this just AI hype?
Real clients. Real outputs. Real retainers paid. The video at the top of the page is itself one of the deliverables. If you're not sure, take the quiz — it'll tell you straight if AI is the right lever for you right now or if you should try something simpler first.
How is this different from a regular consultant?
Most consultants hand off a roadmap and the team builds it themselves. I stick around and build it. You get working systems instead of recommendations you have to figure out.
What does "AI that fits the work" actually mean?
I don't ask you to change your tools, your process, or your team's habits. I find where AI fits inside what you already do, then build it in. The team doesn't have to learn a new system — the system fits theirs.
How fast can you start?
A discovery call within a week. If we proceed, kickoff within two weeks.
What does it cost?
Track A retainer is $2,000/month. 90-day sprint is $6,000. Discovery session is $500 and applied toward engagement. Advisory, training, and build work for organizations is scoped per engagement, usually starting from a paid scoping week ($2,500–$8,000/week depending on team size and scope).
Are you available full-time?
No. I run Velo. But I'll do fractional, advisory, training, and selective build work for the right teams.
What if I'm just exploring?
Take the quiz. It's two minutes, no signup, gives you a personalized recommendation. If something fits, you'll know. If nothing fits today, the quiz cost you two minutes — and I'd rather you walk away clear than booked for a call you don't need.

Ready to get back to the parts of your business you actually love?

Two minutes for the quiz. Thirty minutes for a call. No pitch on the call — just a conversation.
